Pets (Other Than Children)
I often said, “If you have children, you don’t need pets.” Children are messy, untrained, chew on things, poop on the carpet, and yet they take care of you when you’re old, which is more than can be said of a Labrador retriever. Despite that, we still end up with a few pets that aren’t children from time to time.
